H&M & The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo:

A capsule collection designed by costumer Trish Summerville of the new American adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will launch at H&M tomorrow, this is two days before the film’s December 16th release.Lookbook images reveal that the line will stay true to protagonist Lisbeth Salander’s hard-edge aesthetic, with leather and denim jackets and pants, hoodies, grunge-y graphic tees and rugged accessories rounding out its assortment. In addition to the 100 H&M outposts that will carry the line, a pop-up shop located in New York’s meatpacking district (at 72 Gansevoort) will also house the merchandise; it’ll be open December 14-16th.

MONCLER- THE WINTER JACKET OF ALL!!

Gosh it’s cold out there. In order to ward off the winter chills and seasonal showers we all need a good cover-up. All over the shops at the moment I am seeing collections of puffer, padded and quilted jackets. We all need to be wrapped up this winter and the ultimate in cold weather luxury is without a doubt a MONCLER jacket. It is the ‘IT’ brand of the season and the entire collection is beautiful with a clear Nordic and quilted feel. For me these outerwear jackets are just amazing and one is for sure being added to my Christmas list. All of the collection is full of fur, nylon, down feathered, tweed and techno fabrics. Perfect for keeping you stylishly warm and cosy throughout these cold months ahead.

Pudsey bear goes Couture for Children in Need:

The Designer Pudsey Project:
This year, BBC Children in Need has launched a 'Designer Pudsey Collection', which has seen a number of fashion designers use their creative flair and amazing talents to create their very own unique version of the iconic Pudsey Bear all in aid of charity.

Whilst being down in London I have been able to see all the bears within the collection. Designers such as Erdem, Katie Hillier, Mulberry, Jonathan Saunders and Giles Deacon are just a few who have given the traditional Pudsey Bear a makeover.  The collection of designer bears all have their own individual style and are exhibited at the London department store Liberty’s from November 7-19 2011. The collection is being auctioned off online, with a reserve price of £200 to raise money for BBC Children in Need this evening. So there is not a lot of time left to visit the exhibition. Although there is no doubt that this collection will be a part of fashion history for sure.

Bolongaro Trevor Store Launch:

Whilst spending sometime in London my designer friends and I got invited to the Bolongaro Trevor store launch in Covent Garden. Designed by Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor, founder and former designers of ‘ All Saints’. I must admit that Bolongaro Trevor is one of the hottest labels of the moment. It is hugely influenced from the past 20years focusing on British subcultures and niches. Combined with a strong vintage and traditional feel .The clothing has a clear modern twist, fully styled with a vibrant and sharp aesthetic.

Not only is the brand an absolute hit with celebrities and the edgy London East End crowd. It has also appeared in many fashion publications such as ID magazine, Elle, Grazia and Cosmopolitan.

The store itself has an uber cool, unique look with a reminiscent of Victorian London. Very well laid out stocking both Menswear and Ladies wear. It was an amazing evening completely bustling with trendy socialites.  It is very much a lifestyle brand and not just a label. Check out the styles here at www.bolongarotrevor.com

City Girl

  1. Blazer: STRADIVARIUS
  2. Leather trousers: H&M
  3. Blouse: SEE BY CHLOE
  4. Scarf: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
  5. Bag: LOUIS VUITTON
  6. FEDORA HAT: H&M

Chic-stylish-London-living. Being in the city it's all about style and comfort. My style today consists of a dress-up and dress-down look. Perfect for a day shopping and an evening at a cool cocktail bar ( of course adding heels for a more glam feel). I am totally obsessed with hats this season from felt floppy, beanie to trilby and obviously the fedora hats. These accessories are a perfect way to style up any outfit. The rest of my outfit consists of a cream blouse by SEE BY CHLOE, leather trimmed tuxedo blazer STRADIVARIUS ( which I managed to get from Portugal finally :)), leather trousers from H&M and finally my neverfull LOUIS VUITTON bag.
